UOBVM invests US$3 million in Petrojaya Private Limited

Petrojaya Private Limited, a successful ship owner in the vessel chartering business which specializes in carriage of petroleum products has closed a financing round totaling US$3 million. UOBVM, through its ASEAN China Investment Fund ("ACIF") invested US$3 million in the Company. Mr. Mark Yeo, Director of UOBVM, has joined the company's Board of Directors.

Petrojaya has a successful track record serving customers such as Shell Group and edible oils producers and oil traders, Kuok Group. The funding will be use to expand and upgrade the current fleet of vessels of the company.
